For those that haven’t seen our waharoa that now uplifts the entrance to our auditorium✨

The name of our waharoa is “Hikoia te hikoi” – walk the walk. Moving forward, hiokia te hikoi, walk the walk is going to be a relevant term to follow with the work that we will be embarking on next year 🌱🚶‍♀️

We have such deep gratitude for our master carver Harry Wikaira for the time spent crafting this taonga for our school whānau, thank you.

This year’s Craft Week was a special one 🌱

The simple act of transforming matter with dedication and devotion engages not only the will, but our inner emotions and critical thinking. It is the maker that is transformed in the process ♻️

Thank you to our cooking students who raised $800 for our wider community in need this Christmas 🫶 and our wood work students who helped carve a new threshold for the entrance of our school.

Thank you to all who supported this event, and the specialist teachers that came in to share their skills 🙏

Congratulations to our Class 12 graduates who have come to the end of their Steiner educational journey.

Each and every one of you have showcased just what it means to be a student leader in our community, and we can’t wait to see how you showcase this in the wider world.

We are so proud of what you have accomplished, we wish you well as you fly into this next chapter of life 🕊️ As the whakatauki above says, “adorn the bird with feathers so it may soar.”
