Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th August at 6:00pm in the MPS auditorium.
Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

In this fast-paced, 45-minute abridged version, suitable for all ages, you’ll meet lovestruck mortals lost in the forest, feuding fairy royalty causing chaos, and a group of bumbling actors just trying to put on a play.

🏠✨ Following on from our recent post about the Class 12 Architecture Main Lesson, it’s wonderful to see how these skills are nurtured as early as Class 3!
In their Shelters Main Lesson, Class 3 explored how a home is more than just shelter and protection – it is also a place where we nurture ourselves and those we love. Each student selected a traditional shelter from the cultures they have studied, then brought their project to life with creativity and care, using a variety of materials.

✨ 🎵 🎭 This week, we were privileged to host the Waldorf Wayfarers – a travelling group of 52 inspiring performers aged 9 to 83, visiting us from Australia, Taiwan, Japan, India, and Singapore.

Their energy and creativity lit up our kura, as they led workshops with our students and performed for both the lower and upper schools. Our tamariki were absolutely captivated by the music, movement, storytelling, and theatrical magic they brought to life.

The Wayfarers treated us to enchanting performances of Mythical Beasts and The Lord of the Rings – complete with costumed actors, choral singing, and vibrant narration.

🎶 Tonight they are performing a special choral and chamber orchestra concert at 6pm in the MPS Auditorium, open to all. Tickets on the door – $30 adult, $20 concession, $10 high school students, free for lower school students.🎵

🌊🔬🎨 Class 10 is riding the wave of discovery in their current Main Lesson!

From the crashing surf to beams of light and pulses of sound, we’re exploring waves in all their fascinating forms. Students created stunning art by bending light through lenses, delved into medical science by examining the structure of a cow’s eye, and watched wave physics in action with Mr Mander’s epic slow-mo footage of bursting water balloons.

A lesson where science meets art, curiosity, and wonder! 🌈💥👁️‍🗨️
