‘PANDEMONIUM’ is a madcap production filled with mishaps, mayhem, mischance and misunderstandings. Inspired by commedia dell’arte, English pantomime, and murder mystery traditions, this production is pure comedy.

Nanny Mihi And The Rainbow is a favourite kindergarten story. We tell it as a puppet story using cloths and found materials.
As well as learning colours in te reo Māori, tamariki are also learning about sequencing and the natural and spiritual worlds.
Although we have books for the exploration of literacy, nothing is as powerful as told stories and puppetry. Giving tamariki ideas in a picture form is really what grows their imagination.

Birthdays in our Kindergarten are a celebration of the unique individuality of each child. A birthday celebration sensitively touches on the questions:
‘What is it to be a human being?’ ‘Who am I really?’
‘Where did I come from? ‘Who made me?’
And, ‘Why am I on the earth with you?’

We have a garden rather than a playground in our Rudolf Steiner Kindergarten.
Why?
The sensory overload of a busy life can leave us empty, or even thirsting for more stimulation. For tamariki it can be like growing up with sensory deprivation.
A garden nourishes the senses and bring nature back into the lives of children.
