Michael Park School is seeking expressions of interest for a Eurythmy teacher. Eurythmy is a highly valued subject in our school, among faculty, students and the community. Michael Park School is an established school in Auckland. Our current enrolment is 400 students from Early Childhood through to Class 12.
We are looking for an experienced Eurythmy teacher with diploma and pedagogical-eurythmy training (preferably with NZ teacher registration, though this is not essential). A successful applicant would have respect and openness to work with Māori spiritual and cultural values and to uphold the Treaty of Waitangi. Key tasks would be:

Primary School Class Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed primary school teacher with an interest in Steiner education.
The ideal applicant would be artistic, creative and a good communicator with positive classroom management skills. They would have a strong commitment to keeping students at the centre of their work and a willingness to teach and organise programmes in accordance with the special character of the school. A background in Steiner pedagogy is desirable and the ability to work collegially is essential. Applicants must have current NZ teacher registration.
